From St. Mary’s to The Inn: A Wedding Day Full of Joy and Style

How did you both meet and when/where did the proposal happen?

We met during our time at Texas A&M University. Austin proposed in July of 2023. We were enjoying an evening at a rooftop bar at the Sinclair hotel in Fort Worth.

Why did you choose the Inn at Quarry Ridge?

Because of the onsite amenities, and the pure beauty the venue holds!

Tell us about your wedding ceremony!

We wanted to get married in a church. We had a full Catholic ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Center in College Station.

Tell us about your wedding reception!

Our vision for the wedding was “timeless.” We wanted black and white colors and decor to give it a classy and elegant feel. It was the BEST night ever! It was everything we wanted it to be, classy and elegant, but then such a fun time on the dance floor.

What advice do you have for brides planning their wedding?

Find joy in the decisions you’re making. There are SO many decisions you have to make when it comes to planning a wedding. So find joy in those decisions and if you don’t find joy in it, then take a moment to do something that you find joy in. It can be such a stressful time but it will be the best day of your life.

What was your favorite moment of the wedding day?

We loved our first dance. We had the dancing with a cloud feature on our black and white checkered dance floor. It was a beautiful masterpiece.
