Naomi & Jeremy’s Stonehem Hall Wedding | Inn at Quarry Ridge
Jeremy & Naomi’s Beautiful Spring Wedding inside Stonehem Hall at the Inn at Quarry Ridge in Bryan, TX
Naomi & Jeremy’s Wedding was on a chilly early spring day in Texas at Stonehem Hall. Their love story is precious, and one you just don’t want to miss out on!
HOW THEY MET
One Sunday morning, Naomi was visiting a new church and stopped to say hi to a friend she knew.
Her friend introduced her to the guy he was talking to that just so happened to be Jeremy!
Over the next few weeks and months, they became great friends. They had such a great time hanging out with the other singles in the group. It wasn’t much longer, after a particularly fun evening of the two of them hanging out, he asked Naomi out.
A few whirlwind months after that, when snow was falling magically in College Station, we both knew that we were in love.
THE PROPOSAL
Naomi had been bugging Jeremy to cook for her for a long time.
Jeremy & Naomi had cooked together, she had cooked for him, but she was still waiting for him to show off his skills, since she had a sneaking suspicion that he was a great cook!
After Naomi had mentioned it many times, Jeremy set a date to finally cook her a meal.
The evening arrived and when Naomi arrived at his home, Jeremy had transformed his dining room into something else completely!
He had placed curtains over the walls, lit candles for a lovely ambiance, roses were waiting. To top it off the beautiful gourmet meal that Jeremy had prepared was set on the table.
As she walked in, he got down on one knee. His plan was to recite a speech that he had written, citing all the ways in which he loved Naomi. But his nerves got the best of him, and he quickly asked her to be his wife. Only after she said yes was he able to finish the original speech.
Once they were done with their meal, they decided to go out for drinks to celebrate! With one more surprise up his sleeves, Jeremy had arranged for their closest family and friends to be there waiting for them to join in the celebration.
They had this to say about each other:
“I love his loyal and caring heart-this man loves me so well, in ways that I could never have predicted! I also love how much fun and laughter we share together, and how easily he laughs. I love how much I have seen him grown in the time we’ve been together, and how I’ve seen his resilience and determination through hard things.”-Naomi
“Her sense of wonder and magic are all things I love, also her compassion and the her love of adventure!”-Jeremy
The Venue
Naomi knew she wanted her Wedding out at the Inn at Quarry Ridge as she had been able to view it up close and personal several times before. She had attended an Engagement Party, Wedding and a Baby Shower for their good friends who happen to be the owners son and daughter in law! The venue was just stunning to her, and when Stonehem Hall was built she knew it was the perfect spot as she was set on an indoor Wedding. When Naomi brought Jeremy to the Venue on a tour, he took one look around the place and was blown away as well!
THE PACKAGE
Naomi & Jeremy chose the Granite Package because most of their Wedding Party and Family would not be able to enjoy the full weekend at the Venue. The Granite package was perfect for their Stonehem Hall Wedding needs.
Naomi absolutely loved having not having to run her own Wedding or needing to ask one of her friends to try. One of the great perks of the Granite Package is the Day of Coordinator that is included! Jeremy and Naomi enjoyed being in the moment with the time they had and knew that things were taken care of and happening the way they needed to.
THE ADVICE
Do you have any advice for newly Engaged Couples?
“Plan ahead! Things will happen that will inevitably put you behind the schedule you meant to be on, but that Wedding is still coming! Do everything you can as far ahead as possible. Don’t let the to-do lists get in the way of building the foundations of your marriage with your future spouse. You are walking away from your Wedding Day with a Marriage, and your Engagement is a stressful but critical period of growth in preparation for it. Be intentional with each other.
