How did you both meet and when/where did the proposal happen?

We first met at a McDonald’s with a mutual friend, in 2015. It was my senior year of high school and Seth’s junior year of high school! He proposed May, 21 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Seth proposed in front of the Mary statue. And of course popsicles were present since he “popped the question!”

Why did you choose the Inn at Quarry Ridge?

We’re high school sweethearts who have been waiting for this day for the past eight years. A day of celebration was not enough, we wanted a weekend to be surrounded by the loved ones who have supported us along the way. The Inn gave us that weekend option so it was just perfect for us!

Tell us about your wedding ceremony!

Our ceremony was at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan! There wasn’t a dry eye in the house, and Seth cried the entire ceremony. I also cried walking down the aisle because we didn’t do a first look so it was the first time we saw each other that day!

Tell us about your wedding reception!

Our wedding reception was SO fun! Every guest we’ve spoken to has told us how beautiful and how much fun it was. We were going for a summer wedding theme with bright florals. I couldn’t have imagined how beautiful the reception looked, everything was perfect!

What advice do you have for brides planning their wedding?

Enjoy every moment and don’t stress too much! At the end of the day all that matters is that you’re getting to marry the love of your life.

What was your favorite moment of the wedding day?

We had a private first touch where we read our personal vows to each other before the ceremony, that moment together is something we’ll always cherish.
