Devin & Taylor’s Dream Wedding

How They Met

Devin was working at the Planet Fitness in Bryan while the acting manager was opening up a new Planet Fitness location. Taylor went into the gym to tan one day and noticed him sitting behind the desk. He then got up to check her in and she couldn’t even meet his eye out of nervousness. Taylor Said, “I didn’t looked at his face. I only looked up long enough to catch his name on his name tag. I tanned and left. When I got in the car, I called my sister and told her that I had met my future husband.” Taylor and her sister then found him one Facebook (while still sitting in the parking lot), and she saw that he had a beautiful daughter. Just to make sure he was single, Taylor created a Tinder account (Still sitting in the parking lot). She found him on the app, deleted the account, and knew she had the green light to move forward. For those that know Taylor, you will know her as an introvert that would NEVER put herself out there. Later that night on a family FaceTime call, Taylor’s sister was pressuring her to friend him one Facebook but Taylor was refusing. Finally after much prompting from her sister, Taylor gave in. She sent the request and he accepted! Unfortunately for Taylor, that was just the first step. Now she would actually have to message him! After a lot of mental ping pong, she went to send him a message only to find out he had already messaged her. And as they say…the rest is history!

The Proposal

Taylor was 6 month pregnant when the proposal came and she didn’t see it coming. Devin got a bunch of friends and family to go to their favorite place to eat, Casa Do Brazil. When dessert was brought out to the table, it had “from GF to fiancé” written on it! When Taylor turned around in shock, Devin had the ring out and was on one knee!

The Ceremony & Reception

Devin and Taylor chose to have their ceremony outside in front of the gazebo. The weather could not have been more on their side that day. It was absolutely beautiful outside. “An absolute dream! Everything was perfect!” The couple was especially happy to have all their friends and family there to witness this special day. Their reception was everything they hoped for. They wanted a simple rustic theme with maroon and blush as their colors. Both their families danced and partied hard. Everything went smoothly due to their coordinators. Taylor said, “I look back, and I just am in awe!”
