Cameron & Madison’s Rustic Wedding with Touches of Elegance

How they Met

A classic story of high school sweethearts, Cameron and Madison met in middle school and started dating their freshman year of high school.

The Proposal

It was March 14th, 2020, in Uvalde, Texas. Cameron and Madison were on a hike with some of their closest friends. Because hiking is one of Madison’s favorite activities, Cameron had planned the perfect proposal. Once they reached the top of the mountain, they decided to stop and picnic. It was so beautiful that they had to snap some photos together before starting the hike down. RIght then, while overlooking the beautiful scenery, Cameron asked Madison to be his wife.

The Ceremony

It was Spring time so the couple decided to have the ceremony take place at the outdoor gazebo “Let me tell you — the bridge over the pond is so gorgeous as you walk down the aisle to the beautiful green gazebo,” Madison said. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were dressed in pink and maroon (Madison’s favorite colors). Madison wore a beautiful lace dress while Cameron sported a maroon jacket with nice blue jeans because he is, as Madison stated “a country man.” There were rustic elements throughout the wedding, all with elegant finishes as their style is rustic, but make it elegant. They shared vows which they personally wrote and enjoyed the intimate setting with their friends and family.

The Reception

The wedding reception was beautiful and the hall details did not disappoint, the happy couple did not expect anything less. Madison’s highest request was that everything was run according to schedule and she was very pleased with how the coordinators took that seriously. Friends and family were able to dance, eat, and spend quality time around the fire, creating memories. The couple’s favorite part of the reception was sitting out on the patio and eating dinner as the sun set.

Why the Inn

“My husband loved the unique Marble Package that allowed us and guests to stay at the venue all weekend long allowing us to have our Friday night rehearsal, Inn at Quarry Ridge made us breakfast every morning, the wedding coordinators were flawless, the bartenders were awesome, the entire staff was helpful, their decorations were beautiful, etc. They provided everything you could think of and more and made the entire process smooth and easy. The Inn at Quarry Ridge is a beautiful family that truly cares about their couples who choose to say I do at their beautiful venue.

Advice From the Bride

“My advice for your wedding planning is to choose what you feel in your heart is right for you and your spouse. That goes from picking the venue to picking flowers and everything in between.”

Favorite Moment

“There are way too many moments to pick one moment that defined the wedding day. However, we wrote our personal vows and did a first look which I loved getting to have that special time just the two of us. I also loved the ceremony because that was extremely intimate going before friends and family and becoming one with God.”
